Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions about sports PT in Georgetown? Here is what we hear most, from athletes who were in the same spot you are.

Do you accept insurance?

We are cash-based, which means you pay directly without billing through insurance. We provide superbills you can submit to your out-of-network plan for possible reimbursement. We also accept HSA and FSA cards, and work with Side Car Health members and Curative Zero Card holders.

Is sports PT different from regular physical therapy?

We specialize in helping athletes and active adults stay healthy, recover from injuries, and perform at their best. Every session is one-on-one with a licensed DPT—not a tech or aide. We use performance testing, advanced manual therapy, and individualized progressions designed around your goals, not a generic exercise sheet.

Do I need to live in Georgetown to be a patient?

No. We see athletes from across Central Texas for in-person care, and our Remote Performance Programming is built for people who are too far out for regular visits. Round Rock, Liberty Hill, and Austin-area athletes have all made it work, both in-person and remote.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the issue. Some athletes resolve a problem in four to six sessions. Others need more time, especially with a recurring injury that has been building for months or after a surgery. We will give you an honest timeline after your first visit, not a canned estimate.

What if I have tried PT before and it did not work?

That is the most common thing we hear. Most people who say PT did not work were seen in a high-volume clinic with limited one-on-one time. We build every session around your specific issue and the root cause behind it. You will not get a generic handout. You will get a real plan.
